Topic: Woodoaks Farm: Connecting with Food, Farming and Nature

Recently featuring on BBC’s Countryfile, our speaker will explore how the agroecological techniques being applied on Woodoaks Farm at Maple Cross are bringing people together for the benefit of food, farming and nature. Learn more about the power of wildlife and community in sustainable agriculture, whilst gaining a deeper understanding of the current plans and future of our farm.

Speaker: Steve Dutch is part of the Soil Association Land Trust and has been Ranger at Woodoaks for over a year, with the responsibility of looking after our volunteers, helping to inform our conservation management plan and engaging as many people as possible in how we can better produce and eat food in the UK. His background in the environmental sector started in 2018 with a Wildlife Traineeship with the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust. Following that he worked for small charitable organisations working on a huge range of different projects from on the practical groundworks to wildlife surveying.
