The group meet on 1st Tuesday of the month 2pm at Member's homes.

About our Group

We are a friendly group of people who love to share, listen and learn about music and opera.

Each month a group member volunteers to present a piece of music or an opera for us all to enjoy and discuss. We try to ensure a balanced programme including each year a prom or two, a ballet often at Christmas, and a time period range from Monteverdi up to Ades and we do sometimes prolong the afternoon to accommodate Wagner! Whatever people want to share we want to hear.

We enjoy discussion during the interval over a cup of tea/coffee. We also alert each other to upcoming local musical performances and events.

We are a friendly group so if you feel this could be a group for you give it a try.
