Tai Qi Gong (TQC)

Group Leader: Gordon Ross

Please contact the Group Leader (gordoninfocube@yahoo.co.uk) if you are interested in learning Tai Chi and Qi Gong by attending a 12-week short course. These are organised periodically and once completed you can join one of the existing local groups that meet weekly in various locations, days and times.

About our Group

Tai Chi and Qi Gong are recognised as effective ways to counter the detrimental effects of aging. Regular practice brings a wide range of health benefits including better balance, lower stress, improved flexibility, digestion and sleep and many other benefits.

Tai Chi is the slow, gentle, flowing exercise known as moving meditation which is also a defensive martial art.

Qi Gong is the ancient art of combining breathing and lengthening in routines to maintain and improve health and wellbeing.

The u3a groups practice the two in combination, known as FUSION Tai Qi Gong (TQG). (www.fusiontaiqigong.com for more details). This comprises the world’s most popular Tai Chi and Qi Gong routines, taught in harmony for maximum benefits.

This group has vacancies.  Please contact the group leader for more information.
