This trip was arranged by Chorleywood u3a.  Twenty two of us travelled to The Vyne near Basingstoke to spend the day visiting the house and gardens. The weather was kind to us as it was dry and warm but not too hot  so we were comfortable both inside and out. The house was a fascinating place to explore with helpful guides inside each room to explain details about its Tudor rooms and those from the Victorian period. The gardens were lovely especially the Dahlia beds and the peaceful wild flower meadow inside the walled garden. Everyone agreed that it had been a very enjoyable visit to a property that was new to most of us with a very pleasant atmosphere.
