Photography was one of the Victorian Miracles of Science, which evolved into the digital wonders we have today. This illustrated talk by Tony Earle, retired Kodak scientist, recounts those early days over 150 years ago, the founding of Kodak in the 1880’s, to modern times with personal recollections of life at Kodak from the early 1960’s.
Speaker: Tony Earle started working for Kodak, founded in Harrow, in 1961 retiring in 2001 after 40 years. During this time he worked in all aspects of the photographic field both manufacturing sensitised goods, cameras and consumer products at home and abroad. During the last fifteen years of his career he was also involved with the digital revolution.
