Topic: Alexander Litvinenko – The Spy who solved his own Murder

In October 2006 two Russian Intelligence agents flew into London from Moscow. Their mission had one objective, to kill Ex KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko. We look at his life and death and the attempts to assassinate him. We examine the deadly radioactive poison Polonium 210, used to murder him and highlight the reasons why a vengeful President wanted him silenced. We reference the global Police murder investigation and draw attention to the conclusions of the public enquiry set up after his death. We ask if his family will ever find proper justice.

Speaker: Paul Barwick had a career of 34 years in HM Police service. Experienced in law enforcement, intelligence strategies and techniques. He is now a visual presenter/tour guide with his own company offering walking tour experiences focused on London’s reputation as the spy capital of the world digging beneath the glitz and glamour to uncover the seedy underbelly of betrayal, denial and treachery.
