Shakespeare on Screen
Group Leader: Gillian Hill
We meet at 6pm on the third Thursday of the month, at the group leader’s house.
The group is full, but it usually happens that a few members can’t make it, for one reason or another. We keep a reserve list of interested U3A members, so that spare seats can be offered to others on an ad hoc basis.
About our Group
‘Shakespeare on Screen’ is a group originally set up to watch the complete series of 37 Shakespeare plays produced by the BBC between 1978 and 1985. We should have finished by Christmas 2021, but (courtesy of COVID) we finally showed the last one in June 2023.
After a celebratory party in July we plan to continue with other Shakespeare films.
