About our Group
We are starting to plan our monthly programme for 2024 taking account of members’ ideas and suggestions and not forgetting our regular lunches on the 4th Sunday of the month at a pub or restaurant in the immediate area or not too far away. In recent years full-day, part-day or evening activities have included theatre and cinema visits, gentle walks including a pub lunch, ten-pin bowling, visits to places of interest, gardens and exhibitions and a games evening combined with a fish and chip supper. We also organise an annual holiday. An individual member may often invite members of the group to join them in a visit or activity they are planning and the group leader will circulate the details.
We don’t limit the numbers in the group and new members are always welcome. Not everyone in the group is able to drive, so lifts are arranged.
Sylvia is always happy to provide more detailed information about the group.
